DUES ARE NOW DUE FOR THE
2011-2012 MASONIC YEAR
Please make the secretary's job easier by paying now and not
stretching it out several months with may attempts to collect.
There are quite a few that owe for more than last year's dues
and will be dropped from the mailing list and e-mail soon.
And I mean soon. We are expected and we hope that you will
too: Dues for this year are now twenty dollars ($20.00)
Application fee for membership is
now thirty dollars ($30.00) which includes the dues for the
current year. The fee shall accompany the application.
President's Desk - February 2012
My thanks to crony Gordon Craig for
the outstanding collation of sausages wrapped in a pastry
blanket, and the very old fine bottle of refreshment last
meeting. Gordon you have hit a new high water mark.
As discussed last month, greater
care will be taken to the future to notify the floor team
members of all schedule outings. Crony Jeff Jarvis, our
ritual floor manager as well as myself and the secretary, will
phone or mail any information to brothers not endowed with
e-mail.
On a lighter note, Crony Arthur
McIntyre has a new e-mail address, yes it is true,
A.Mcintyre@kilwinningclub.org
As installations are complete for
the season, we are now receiving inquiries for degree work,
after long discussion the club has decided to perform such
degree work on a selected basis. We as a club are not a
replacement for proper degree work. It has always been our
policy to offer such service as an adjunct to the standard
requirements placed on all lodges in the jurisdiction, however,
should an emergency present itself, then every effort will be
made to provide assistance.
Speaking of assistance, Cronies
where are you? Your club only functions well when there
are many opinions expressed at the monthly meetings.
It was nice to have as many members
at the meeting as we had last month. But, remember my
brothers, you give up your rights to be heard, if you are not in
attendance. Not to mention your share of the sausages and
your cut of the Dram.
Please take note of the Secretary's
report of the upcoming degree work and when it comes. Answer the
call of duty from Crony Jeff Jarvis.
Fraternally,
Crony Brother Peter MacD.
President

CLUB PINS
Club pins are now available for
$2.00 each to members. We will be giving these out to brothers
that the club raises or installs as master at our outings. If
you would like to have one, they will only be available at club
meetings.
If you know of any crony that is in need of support and
would like a visit, please let us know. We are over 100 members
now and can’t keep track of all unless we are notified of their
circumstances.
